Thomas Torres has begun painting a series of biblical events with exquisite detail exploring old sacred art compositions. Each painting is very unique in its texture and realism expressing the true facts of the Bible. The paintings are done using the 1390's-15th century realistic technique, a timeless style from masters of Flemish Impressionism.
Thomas feels an appreciation for each rendering piece because he has brought to life just a portion of forgotten history in hopes that others would be inspired.
In 2003, He gained his experience in portiture using a 13 to 15th Century Technique and was taught by his mentor, David E. Weaver, a Fine Master of Flemish Realism. Thomas, an artist and sculptor, has intentions to use his talent in worship and praise to further the Kingdom of God.
